Dear Editor,
Apology accepted. Cpt. Jack Robinson of the Gilroy Police department called and apologized for not following up on a 911 call I placed last Saturday night. Jack called in response to a letter to the editor I wrote that was published on the opinion page of the Wednesday edition of the Gilroy Dispatch.
The 911 call was to report an illegal display of fireworks followed by a huge explosion that shook our house.
Thanks Captain Jack, and now I have a contact phone number and an officer to call if further illegal activities occur in my neighborhood.
