Get ready for a stroll: The Gilroy Visitor’s Bureau will hold its Downtown Gilroy Wine Stroll from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are limited and can be purchased for $20 at the Chamber of Commerce, 7780 Monterey St. To download a map and list of participants, click here.
Poker anyone? The Gilroy Community Services Department will hold its sixth annual Halloween Hold ‘Em Recreational Tournament from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna St. Teams of four individuals, 18 years old and up, play at different tables in the one-day event. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit City of Gilroy programs. Details: 846-0460.

Warriors … come and play: Test your skills in Warrior Dash, the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Casa de Fruta in Hollister. Runners take on 12 intense obstacles over 3.5 miles of extreme terrain. Obstacles include running over fire, crawling under a mud pit covered by barbed wire, climbing cargo structures and more followed by a post-race concert and party. Clay and glass artists on display: Enjoy free arts and crafts outside Saturday as the Gilroy Arts Alliance presents its exhibit “Earth and Sky, Clay and Glass Art.” Music will be provided by The Amazing Dr. Zarcon’s Breathing Machine Jug Band with blues vocalist Donna Federico. City officials will also be on hand as the alliance introduces its new executive director and arts center administrator. Become better acquainted with the growing and active art and cultural center as the new exhibit will continue daily except Monday and Tuesday through Nov. 6.
