GilroyDispatch.com is mixing up its Top 5 Things to Do Around Gilroy by offering five events on New Year’s Eve to help you celebrate locally. Happy New Year.
Party at Lizarran: Lizarran Tapas Restaurant at 7400 Monterey Street will be having a New Year’s Eve Party starting at 8:00 p.m. The night will kick off with Luke Dunbar playing Flamenco guitar for a dinner show, followed by DJ Nico and “Killer Sharks on the Loose” playing 70s, 80s and 90s hits. Three separate ticket packages are currently available:
– Package A includes a five course meal with choice of entree, champagne toast, party favors, access to both floors and a taxi cab ride home upon request for $50.
– Package B is the same as package A, without the meal for $20.
– Package C is first floor only for $10.
Celebrate with live music at 9 Lives: Come celebrate the New Year at the grand opening of 9 Lives, 7430 Monterey St. Time & Pressure, fourwayfree and Silent Chaos will perform Friday. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and are available at ticketfly.com. Details: 337-1799 or ninelivesclub.com.
New Year’s Eve Masses at St. Mary: Saint Mary Catholic Church will hold its New Year’s Eve Masses at 5 p.m. in English and 6:30 p.m. in Spanish at the church, 11 First St
Dinner and dance at the Elks Lodge: The Gilroy Elks Lodge will hold a dinner and dance Friday at the lodge, 2765 Hecker Pass Highway. Open to members and their guests. Details: 842-9397.
Singles dance at Westside Grill: Enjoy a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings during the singles event from 6:30 p.m. to 1 am. Friday at Westside Grill in Gilroy. Seating is limited to 80. Cost: $35. 21+ Details: 848-1666 or thewestsidegrill.com.
Dinner and dance with the Silveradoz: VFW Post 6309 will hold a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance Friday with music by the Silveradoz at 74 W.
