Myhr carded a 38 at Monday’s league meet, leading Gilroy to a first place finish for the second week in a row and earning medalist honors for the third straight week.
“In Sweden we do not have high school competitive sports,” Myhr said. “This has been a great experience playing on a high school golf team.”

Newman went 4 for 5, scored three runs, drove in an RBI and racked up five stolen bases for the Rams in their 13-12 win over Chabot College March 17 at home. The victory was the first in conference play for Gavilan. The team is now 6-21 overall, 1-8 in conference.
