nod over What’s Crackin’ at Christmas Hill Park.
Gilroy – Pacific Coast Bail Bonds captured the B Division title of the 35th annual Co-Rec Fourth of July Tournament with an 8-7 comeback nod over What’s Crackin’ at Christmas Hill Park.

What’s Crackin’ moved into the finals with an 8-7 victory over Team Coconuts and a 4-2 decision over Sandlot. Team Coconuts earned fourth-place honors, Sandlot third.

Ricky Salinas went 3-for-3 and Jim Sands scored twice as What’s Crackin’ built a 6-1 lead over Pacific Coast. Richard Cruz and Richie Rodriquez each slapped a two-run single as Pacific Coast posted four runs to trail 6-5 in the seventh.

Salinas made it 7-5 in the top of the seventh with an RBI-single before Pacific Coast countered with three runs in the seventh to take the crown.

Richard Rodriquez, Zee Norton and Ryan Dequin hit consecutive triples to open the rally.

Luna Bail Bonds defeated Do Work twice in the finals to take the title of the eight-team C Division at Las Animas Park.

Laura Miller singled and scored on a Danae Tomasovitch single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Luna an 8-7 win in the finale. George Salgado and Cody Wilson stroked home runs for Do Work.

Tipsy McStaggers won four games Wednesday in the loser’s bracket to claim third place. Vinny DeLorenzo hit a triple and single for Tipsy in a 12-8 loss to Luna. Team Whaaat finished fourth with a 9-2 loss to Tipsy. Ana Patejdl doubled and singled for McStaggers. Gabe Hernandez homered for Team Whaaat.
