Brian Bradley moved his mound record to 3-0 and the Gavilan College baseball team defeated City College of San Francisco 3-0 on Thursday.

Bradley pitched 6 2/3 innings, striking out eight and allowing three hits. Steve Cabral tossed the ninth inning to record the save.

The Rams scored twice in the third and added an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth. Tyler Oertle had three hits and two RBIs for the Rams, and Kenny Hall and Aaron Wallace each had a pair of hits.

Thursday’s victory came on the heels of a 10-3 win over Contra Costa on Wednesday. Shea Adams improved to 3-1 on the hill, striking out seven in seven innings of work.

Gavilan did its damage at the plate in the fifth and seventh frames, scoring four and six runs, respectively.

Cal Tashiro and Bradley contributed two RBIs apiece, while Julio Cortez, Lyell Marks, Johnny Cox and Oertle drove in one run each.

Gavilan is 7-4 on the season and plays at City College of San Francisco on Saturday. First pitch is slated for Noon.
