The only trouble the team ran into was in the championship game against the TCT Grinders from Texas. The Storm led the game 5-1, but in the top of the fifth inning the Grinders hit a three-run home run that had the potential to turn the tables on the Storm. However, the Storm were able to keep the Grinders to four runs, taking home first-place with the 5-4 finish.
