She worked at Gilroy Foods for 25 years. She enjoyed making baby blankets for all her friends and family, and going to family functions.

She will be missed deeply.

She is survived by children, Andrea Smidht and her children Micah Torres, Gabriel Torres, Ronnie Smidht from Newton, Kan., Ana Salas and her partner Ruben Vera, and her children Angel Cruz Rangel, Davina Marie and her husband Juan and great-granddaughter Katrina Marie from Goshen; Jesse Orosco III, his son Isiah Jesse Orosco of Gilroy; Ramonas Salas; Becky and Louie Vallez and her children Lorena, Vincent, Louie Vallez; and her only son Raymond Salas and his wife Francis and his son Anthony Raymond Salas.

She will also be greatly missed by her good friends Chita and her daughters; her sisters-in-law Vicky Hernandez, Dora Mendoza and Martha Salas; all her nieces and nephews, who loved her very deeply; and her only surviving brother Pedro Serrato and his family.

Services will be held at 7pm, today, Feb. 10, 2005, at Habing Funeral Home and at 10am, Friday, Feb. 11, 2005.
