GILROY – The South Valley Civic Theatre will be holding open auditions for their upcoming production “Guys and Dolls” on at 6:30 p.m. Friday and at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the SVCT Warehouse, 8565 Monterey Road.

GILROY – St. Mary’s Youth Group will hold a “Mexican Fiesta,” an adult dinner dance, from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Cullen Hall, 11 First St.
The event will feature a no-host bar, sounds to DJ spinning, an auction and a raffle. A donation of $25 per person will go to help send St. Mary’s Youth Group on their Mexico mission trip.

GILROY – Join a park ranger for a walk along the Calaveras Fault in Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch Park on from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Bring comfortable clothing, water and a lunch for a trek along the fault. Learn about plate tectonics, how local landscape was formed and earthquakes.
