DEAR EDITOR:

I would like to extend my best wishes to the injured mail carrier. Mary, I’m sorry to say, you may suffer the worst possible injury, short of death, that we rural carriers encounter – the possible loss of your right arm.

I want you to know, my thoughts and prayers are with you, as are those of my co-workers here in Centralia, Washington. God speed to you – an angel to those you serve.

If you’re up to correspondence, I’d like to hear how you are doing, and your (I expect “wonderful”) recovery report.

Rural Carriers are a special breed – all my best to you! Take care now, and feel better SOON!

Jamie Matthews, Centralia, Washington
