She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Robert Charles Benson; her children Robert C. Benson II, Mark A. Benson, Barbara J. Keyworth, Michael J. Benson, James E. Benson, Kathryn S. Yrique, Carol A. Richter and Christine M. Benson. Beverley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother of many. She was the grandmother of Robby, Michelle, Colin, Austin, Michael Jr., Kyla, Tiffany, James, Nicole, Mekayla, Joseph, Calie, Kaitlynn and Noah. She is also survived by her brothers Alba Clothier and Duane Clothier.
Beverley touched the lives of countless children as a teacher and librarian for 35 years for the Mountain View School District. She was an inspiration to all. She will be sorely missed.
Family has received visitors at 10 a.m. today, in the Chapel at St. Simons Church of Los Altos. The Chapel service was held at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Gilroy.
