Downed power lines ignited a one-acre blaze near Uvas Reservoir Monday, according to a Cal Fire spokesperson.
Six Cal Fire engines and a bulldozer responded to the incident, along with a water tender and an “air attack” coordinator who air attacks to contain the blaze within 25 minutes,CalFire Battalion Chief Paul VanGerwen said.
There were no injuries and no homes or structures were threatened by the fire near Sycamore Avenue and Uvas Road.
