Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team and the Morgan Hill Police Department served a narcotic related search warrant at a residence in the 15800 block of Hill Road and arrested Thomas Hasty, 28. 

After nearly two months of negotiations, the City of Gilroy and the Gilroy Police Officers Association have agreed on a new two-year contract that awards 2 percent raises each year for all 59 police officers within the union.

A 70-year-old man brandished a handgun at a friend of his neighbor’s who he thought was too close to his home Saturday night, police said.

Morgan Hill police are investigating an armed robbery at a local hotel that might be related to two similar incidents that occurred in Hollister in recent days. 

A high-speed pursuit that started in San Martin late Sunday evening ended in Morgan Hill with one suspect arrested.
