GILROY—The Christopher girls tennis pulled out a 4-3 win over Everett Alvarez Tuesday at home but the Eagles didn’t make it easy. Three of the day’s matches needed a tiebreaker to decide a winner and ended with the Cougars on top each time.

Tayler Silacci came up big for Gilroy against Leigh. 

The Gilroy field hockey team picked up its third straight win, defeating Prospect Tuesday. 

Anthony Rodriguez had a big day at the plate for Christopher.

The Monterey Bay League announced its alignments for the 2014 season Friday.
