Buddy the Lonesome Boy: Adopt Me and be my valentine

Buddy says: I found my foster mom when I was a small kitten wandering the streets in Gilroy. I was very thin, dirty, and very, very hungry. She thought I had more gray patches than I really did, because I had a lot of oil and grease smears on my white fur. When she took me to the vet for something called “neutering” the vet cleaned me up while I was sleeping and I woke up with a lot more white on me. (I still don’t know exactly what they did to me that day, but it sure seems to me like I’m missing something; I haven’t figured out what yet, so I guess it’s o.k.)
Anyway, I’m temporarily hanging out in my foster mom’s laundry room because her other cats are so mean! They attack me, so I’m all alone out here and just desperate for love and affection. I’ve been out here all alone for so long, though, I’m beginning to despair of ever finding a real home. She gives me as much time as she can, but it’s just not enough for me. I’m posted on PetFinder and I’ve been to several adoption fairs (but I’m afraid of other cats) yet no one takes me home. Have I been looking for love in all the wrong places?
I’m so lonesome and want a home and people of my own. I wish I could have my very own people to love, and more than one room to explore! I have a lot of energy, I love to play and I have so much love to give. I adore it when my foster mom picks me up, snuggles me in her arms, and carries me around. And I love to step onto her shoulder, and do head-butts and nose-rubs with her. I like to talk, too; she says I’m very vocal. For now it would be best if I’m an only cat in my new home. But my foster mom says that I would probably like a kitten or a puppy of my own someday. I’m just not used to other cats yet, and I’ve had some bad experiences, she says.
So I’m a really handsome big boy; a loving, friendly, 1 ½ year old gray and white domestic short-hair cat and I’m very lonely. I’ve been neutered, combo tested, micro-chipped and I’m current on my vaccines. Would you, could you, please be my valentine? Are you the one?
