Make Your Wedding ‘A Perfect Beginning’
Gilroy Premium Outlets presents “Perfect Beginnings” each Thursday in May. Every week a different store will host friends and family of the bride-to-be with a new theme by offering refreshments, special offers and prizes.
Perfect Beginnings’ theme Everything for the Kitchen at Pfaltzgraff, Bldg. A#44 will be held on May 12.

Retired Teachers Hold Spring Luncheon

Eighth grade students and their parents are invited to the second annual “Gilroy High School Open House and Spring Fair,” on Thursday,
from 6 to 8:30pm.
Learn all about dress code expectations, food services, cell phone and CD player policy, visit the classrooms, get information on the GHS Choir, Band, parent clubs, students club, CMAP community TV, and much more.

Special Education CAC
Special Education CAC – Community Advisory Committee for Morgan Hill and Gilroy – will hold a “Social Strategies and Potluck,” from 7 to 9pm at MHUSD District Office, 15600 Concord Circle in Morgan Hill.
Please bring something to share. Veronica Hoyle-Kent and Linda McNulty will give highlights from the recent Center for Social Thinking workshop, Strategies for Verbal Children with Social Deficits.
The CAC is a group of parents, teachers, and administrators who work with children of special needs. Join the meetings on the second Thursday of the month, to gain knowledge and support in the area of special education challenges.

The City of Gilroy presents the Project Sentinel Workshop “Becoming A Successful First-time Homebuyer” on Saturday, May 14, from 8:30am to 3pm at Las Animas Park Recreation Building, 400 Mantelli Drive.
Learn the essentials of becoming a homeowner, including understanding the overall process and the ramifications of ownership, assessing your financial qualifications for purchase, creating a realistic budget, improving your credit record and more.
Lunch will be provided. The workshop is free, but space is limited so reservations are required by the end of Friday.
