Shaffer completes specialized course
Kathleen Shaffer has just completed a highly specialized course in short sales and foreclosures presented by the Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of Realtors.
This course is part of a series of professional education sequences required to qualify for the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and for the Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource Certification (SFR).
The course covered specific processes and techniques on how to counsel buyers and sellers of distressed properties. During the course, Kathleen was subject to hands-on development of plans and programs designed to ensure the professionalism of the residential sales associates when dealing with avoiding foreclosures, listing short sales and handling REOs.
“There are many new unique and compelling strategies for assisting our customers,” Shaffer said. “And I have already begun to apply the strategies covered during this course in my work at Intero Real Estate.”
