Attorney Sheila J. Peterson was certified as a specialist in family law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Peterson, a resident of Gilroy for the past 10 years, has been active in the community, is a graduate of Leadership Gilroy and on the Board of Directors of Leadership Gilroy. Peterson is also the current chair of the Family Law Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the past president of the Gilroy/ Morgan Hill Bar Association (two terms). She handles cases involving issues such as custody and visitation, support, divorce, mediation, restraining orders and parentage.
