Business Briefs: Salinas chamber honors Gilroy native

The Salinas Chamber of Commerce honored Gilroy native Kristina
Chavez Wyatt as its Member of the Year at its annual community
awards luncheon on Feb. 10.
The Salinas Chamber of Commerce honored Gilroy native Kristina Chavez Wyatt as its Member of the Year at its annual community awards luncheon on Feb. 10.

Wyatt, who sits on the board of directors for the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, serves the Salinas Chamber as vice chair of government affairs and community relations. She is also a member of the Governmental Review Council and Candidate Review Committee. Wyatt, who lives with her husband in Hollister, is also a member of the San Benito Chamber of Commerce. She is the co-legislative director for the California Women for Agriculture Salinas Valley Chapter, and has served in the past as chairwoman and government affairs director for the Central Coast Young Farmers and Ranchers.Wyatt received commendations from Monterey County supervisors, the city of Salinas, U.S. Congressman Sam Farr, California Sen. Anthony Cannella and California Assemblyman Luis Alejo for her efforts.

Ledwith honored in Patriot’s Club

Brad Ledwith, an independent financial advisor at Ledwith Financial Services, Inc. in Morgan Hill, announced that he was recognized as a top financial advisor and named to the LPL Financial Executive Council Patriot’s Club. This distinction is based on a ranking of all registered advisors supported by LPL Financial and is awarded to less than two percent of the firm’s more than 12,000 advisors nationwide.
