Bryant Cid had a strong game on mound, and Jon Robles had a three-run home run to help the Giants win the Gilroy Little League Majors title.
Austin Guerrero also had a two-run home for the Giants.
“We played as a team, one unit moving on each play with one thing in mind – to win,” said Cardinals coach Brian Chrisman. “We arrived at the field early at 3pm and set up camp to get the kids ready for the weather – climatize the boys and feed them hamburgers and hotdogs along with keeping them hydrated. Everything came together and we are proud coaches and parents.”
