sudden illness.

A 29-year resident of Hollister, she was a member of the Children’s Home Society of Gilroy, now the Gilroy Assistance League, a member of the San Benito County Cowbelles and the Republican Women of San Benito County.

A homemaker, she was very devoted to her family. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed cooking and gardening.      

Mrs. Bourdet was precceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Bourdet who died in September 2000.  She is survived by her children, Lorraine MacKenzie of Sebastapol, John Bourdet and his wife, Tina of Hollister, DeeCee Donati and her husband Bill of Hollister, and Jeff  Bourdet of Hollister. 

Grandmother of Shelley Donati of Hollister, Adam Donati and his wife Amy of Napa, John Donati of Hollister, Shawn Bourdet and his wife Audra, of Hollister, Wyatt, Cody and Carson Bourdet all of Hollister, and Aimee Bourdet of Hollister. Great-Grandmother of Garrett and Tucker Bourdet both of Hollister. Preceeded in death by her three sisters, Catherine and Maria Bidart and Celina Gomez.

She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2004, at the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Contributions are preferred to the Sacred Heart School Foundation, Visiting Nurses Association or the San Benito County Saddlehorse Association Museum.
