Gilroy local Alex Zamaripa, 19, spends her last day with her puppy Leia, a 5-month-old Chihuahua mix, Saturday at Battaglia Ranch Christmas Tree Farm before shipping out the following day to South Carolina to begin boot camp for the Marines.
