p dir=”ltr”>Hot enough for ya? No, but seriously, it’s hot, really really hot. The City of Gilroy has issued a heat advisory as temperatures are expected to be as high as 110 degrees. They are encouraging all residents to take extra care and have given some safety tips to stay safe.

p dir=”ltr”>Stay indoors as much as possible and limit exposure to the sun.

p dir=”ltr”>Drink plenty of fluids and replace salts and minerals in your body.

p dir=”ltr”>Spend time in air conditioned places like libraries, shopping malls or other public indoor facilities.
<
p dir=”ltr”>Check on family, friends, and neighbors who do not have air conditioning and who spend much of their time alone.
<
p dir=”ltr”>Never leave kids or pets alone in closed vehicles.
