Clara Thelma (Filice) Cimino, died after a long illness on April 15, 2004, at her home. She was 79.

Mrs. Cimino was born on March 3, 1925, in San Jose. She had a genuine love of life. Mrs. Cimino and her husband, Tom, were members of Pasatiempo Golf Course and the Monterey Peninsula Country Club.

She was a member of the ladies group at De Laveaga Golf Course as well, and enjoyed time spent with her friends.

She was a skilled and lucky golfer. She made two hole-in-one shots during her golfing career.

Mrs. Cimino is the daughter of Frank and Mary Filice. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom Cimino; two sons, John and Christopher; daughter, Barbara; two daughter’s-in-law, Yvonne and Lisa; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two step-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy.
