board, my first thought was WOW! What a great LOSS for GUSD.

A candidate worth voting for: Pat Midtgaard, for GUSD Board of Education Trustee.
When I found out that Mrs. Midtgaard was running for the school board, my first thought was WOW! What a great LOSS for GUSD.
She was a terrific principal, I was still hoping that there was a job that she would fill at the district sharing her wealth of knowledge with other administrators, but after that thought, It dawned on me, WOW – we are very lucky to be able to have someone with her background working for us! Some one that knows the ropes of the school district (She was a teacher then principal and put her kids through our school district.)
I know that Mrs. Midtgaard can ask the right questions, someone that knows when reform needs to happen, and, to top it off, someone who knows what our community and kids need!
She has told me she will advocate that all students need to be targeted for learning not just the low performers, but everyone across the board! She has my vote just on that TOPIC!, But the most important feature is that I feel her agenda is our kids. Without a doubt she was our kids’ advocate as a principal at Antonio Del Buono, now she can be the parents’ advocate! She communicates and knows the power of good leadership! I know what a tight ship she ran as a principal. I trust her to do her best for our kids. What a relief to know that I can go and vote for her and not have any qualms about it.
Her experience in our district is unbeatable if you ask me! Thanks for making one of my choices easy!
