from the Royal Ranger Program.
New Hope Community Church honored Aaron Moon after he was promoted to the highest rank of Master Rating in his Trailblazer class, and received the highest award of “Gold Medal of Achievement” from the Royal Ranger Program.
He was recognized July 13 in a Council of Achievement Ceremony where he was presented with his gold medal and letters of recognition from several officials, including the California governor and the president of the United States.
As a Royal Ranger from Outpost 21, Aaron is the 5,071st national recipient of the medal, the 117th in the Northern Cal./Nevada District and the first in Gilroy since the program started in 1962.
Aaron has excelled in Bible studies, camping skills and has received 21 Advanced Merit Awards in many different hobbies and endeavors.
