â–  Yes. Today’s generation has grown up using computers. It only makes sense to provide strong programs offering technical and career training to support their futures.

â–  Absolutely. This has been a program that has been lacking in public school forever in California. Other states do it and very successfully. We must accept the fact that some individuals are more suited, by choice or ability, to a non college/university trained career. Let’s help them get to where they can be successful and feel good about themselves.

â–  Yes. It is a shame it was gutted years ago by a principal who thought all students were college candidates. With a paradigm shift, I feel all college prep students should be required to take at least one vocational education class.

â–  Absolutely yes!

â–  Yes. The district should also partner with the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses to establish practical “real world” curriculum and training methodologies.

â–  Yes. It would give students that are not going to college an opportunity to get some work skills and prepare them for jobs.
