â– No. In fact, forget the “two-tier” plan and skip to the third tier … “self-directed retirement savings plans” just like most of the other Gilroy taxpayers!
â– No. This is insanity. I especially take issue when they aren’t required to invest any of their income into the pension plan, such as with a 401K. And on top of it, they retire early and take on a new second career – in essence earning double income for 10 or more years. How is this fair?
â– Absolutely NOT! That is excessive even with our cost of living in paradise.
â– No, especially since so many of them retired early and have gone on to feed off yet another public trough.
â– NO. Simple retirement schedule: 20 years half pay for retirement, 30 years 3/4 pay and no higher.
