Community Pulse: What school facilities have priority?

Should the school district finish the final wing at Christopher
High for $20 million or put portables there and make improvements
at other schools?
THIS WEEK’S WEB POLL:

Should the school district finish the final wing at Christopher High for $20 million or put portables there and make improvements at other schools?

Improve others 1 Finish CHS 9

â–  The bond monies were meant to finish CHS and MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AT OTHER SITES such as Rucker and a kitchen at Rod Kelley. Look how awful portables look at a site after a few years, it would be a shame to let that happen. Use the money as it was meant to be used and stop squandering it away! What happened to the group that was supposed to monitor the spending?

â–  Complete the final wing if there are sufficient funds somewhere in the school bond.

â–  FINISH IT! Everyone should recall that the only reason the Measure P school bond passed was because it included the new high school. If it is not completed now, it will NEVER be completed. Be warned, there is nothing more permanent than a public agency “temporary” solution!

â–  The voters for Measure P wanted Christopher finished. At least that is what I thought when I voted for Measure P. If it is not done now it may never be done.

â–  Finish the final wing. Be pound-wise!

â–  Portables. They have overspent on Christopher and there should be ramifications and accountability. There are many other needs in our district and the resources should be shared.

â–  Finish the final wing to match the architecture of the current structure.

â–  FINISH now since costs will continue to rise.
