An Afrikaner Butternut Tart and Mahi-mahi Laulau with Shiitake Risotto are among the gastronomic tours de force that will battle it out during the Great Garlic Cook-Off at the 35th Gilroy Garlic Festival July 27.
Overturned semi blocks both lanes on U.S. 101 southbound
As of 8:40 a.m. today an overturned semi-trailer truck caused back-to-back traffic on U.S. 101 southbound for up to 3.5 miles south of the Monterey Road exit in Gilroy.
