GILROY – St. Josephs Family Center is one of 16 winners nationwide of the 2003 ConAgra Foods Foundation Community Service Awards. Awards this year totaled $200,000.
St. Josephs Family Center has been awarded a $20,000 grant. The money will be used for ever-growing need for housing assistance and good allotments in the Gilroy community.
ConAgra Foods Foundation Community Service Awards are given annually to nonprofit organizations that provide exceptional service to communities where ConAgra Foods has operations. ConAgra Food Ingredients Company, Gilroy, which employs 500 people at 1350 Pacheco Pass Highway, nominated St. Josephs Family Center for the award.
