Our visit to the Courtyard in City Hall was a very pleasant experience. It was Friday and they were very busy, and we had no reservations. With all of this it took only 10 minutes to seat us. The greeting and courtesy from one of the owners and the ambience at the Courtyard is very relaxing. The presentation of the entrees is quite colorful. In spite of all this somehow my order was confused and I had to return it to the kitchen.
The management responded promptly with an apology, letting me know that my meal would be out soon and that our lunch would be on the house because of the error. No hassle, no argument.
I am sure that we are not the only ones to visit Gilroy’s shining star, The Courtyard in City Hall. Thanks so much to the owners and staff for a very pleasant delicious lunch, wonderful service, and a fine example of a class act in a first class restaurant.
F.G. Scott, Gilroy
