Diane is the daughter of Steve and Karen Crane of Morgan Hill. She graduated from Live Oak High School in 1998 and California State, Chico, in 2002. She is currently a fifth-grade teacher in Milpitas.
Christopher is the son of Jim Schmidt and Cathy House of Morgan Hill. He graduated from Live Oak High School in 1997 and graduated summa cum laude at Chico State University in 2001. He is employed by E-Trade in Menlo Park.
Bridesmaids included Danielle Perry, Alyssa Hause and Molly Turley, high school friends of the bride, and Elizabeth Downs and Cindy Allen, who were college roommates.
Groomsmen were Marcus Schmidt and Beau Hause, brothers of the groom. Also attending were Joe Reynolds, Marc Stafford and Mike Chappell, college friends of the groom.
The couple honeymooned in Maui.
