Bobby Reggiani laced a home run, triple and double as Wolfe joined the Good Fellas atop the seven-team circuit. Both teams play twice this week, including a Friday showdown at 7:40 at Christmas Hill.
Josh Padron went 2-for-2 and Joel Vaca scored twice for the Builders. Brent Boyd and Mitch MacVicar lofted sacrifice flies for State Farm Insurance.
Maui Tacos Dynamite powered past In The Zone 23-0. Armando DeLaTorre hit a grand slam and Geno Martinez added a two-run homer for the Dynamite. Anthony Gonzalez cracked four hits. Wayne Richelle went 2-for-2 for the winless Zone.
Craig Avila Bail Bonds tied Team Talamo at 4-1 atop the Men’s B League with a 19-15 edging of Obata Farms Friday at Gavilan Sports Park.
Ralphie Martinez and Marshall Silva hit consecutive homers in a nine-run second for the Bondsmen. Leroy Dozal went 4-for-4 with a sacrifice fly for the winners. Jeff Heck hit two homers and Jason Livingston drilled a home run in a 4-for-4 hit for the Farmers.
The Slammers slipped to 4-1 in the Men’s D League pennant scramble Friday, losing to Ellite Barbers & Hair Stylists 17-16 at Las Animas Park.
The game left three clubs, Slammers, Ellite and Community Bank, tied atop the league with one game left in the first half.
Manuel Gonzalez popped two home runs and Pablo Gutierrez added a homer, double and single in the Ellite upset. The Slammers rallied for 11 runs in the top of the seventh inning before leaving the bases loaded. Ken Hopf homered and Dustin Barnes and Ray Covarrubias each lashed two singles in the Slammer seventh. Barnes and Joe Duran each stroked a homer for the losers.
Community Bank stopped Team HJ-FX 16-8 behind 4-for-4 marks by Randy Evanger and Rich Furtado. Marc Rodriguez went 2-for-3 for Team HJ-FX.
Al Roybal rifled five hits and Bruce Hanna and Jose Ramirez followed with three-run home runs in a 39-8 Fritter-Schulz Physical Therapy-Pizza N Stuff win over Happy Dog Pizza. Darren Wall and Dan Gavrity each homered for Happy Dog Pizza.
Team Hair FX earned the first-half Co-Rec C League pennant Sunday with a 19-9 decision over the South County Hammers at Las Animas.
