Believe it or not, it’s time to get started on summer gardens, and the Gilroy Demonstration Garden is helping people get a head start on all the delicious vegetables they hope to plant this year at their seedling sale this Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Demonstration Garden will sell organic veggie seedlings – including heirloom varieties – as well as a myriad of herbs and flowers.

The Gilroy Demonstration Garden, located at 7360 Eigleberry St. in the heart of downtown, is a nonprofit educational garden open to the community. All proceeds from Saturday’s sale go back to the garden’s programs.
