Gilroy – Sam Bozzo presents his pasta tre’colore during “Spaghetti Dinner” from 5 to 8pm, Wednesday, in the Brownell Gym.

Indulge your taste buds with pasta tre’colore (pasta with three sauces) and try your luck at the raffle.

Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for children 12 or younger. Raffle tickets are $5 each.

Takeout is also available; containers will be provided.

Proceeds will benefit the Gilroy High School Choir Program.

Labor law discussed at advisory council

San Juan Bautista – The Gavilan Employer Advisory Council will hold their quarterly breakfast seminar on Wednesday, from 7:30 to 10:30am at the San Juan Oaks Golf Club in San Juan Bautista.

The topic will be “Labor Law Updates 2005.” The featured speaker will be Susan Kabanek, an employment law attorney.

Student conducted concert Thursday

Gilroy – The Gilroy High School Band Program will hold its annual Student Conducted Concert on Thursday, at 7pm, in the High School Theater.

This concert is scheduled to feature the high school’s award-winning Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band playing American, classical and movie-theme pieces selected and conducted by 12 talented, young, student musicians.

Admission is free and the public is welcome to enjoy the music.

Red Cross blood drive Thursday afternoon

Gilroy – The American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive Thursday, 1:30 to 6:30pm at First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Ave.

To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit BeADonor.com. To donate blood you must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in general good health.

And bring your driver’s license if you have one. American Red Cross volunteer blood donors are required to provide identification before donating blood.

The preferred identifiers include a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, or a Red Cross blood donor card. Otherwise, two other forms of ID are needed.

Relay for Life hosts Casino night

Gilroy – Relay For Life Team USA is hosting “Casino Night” at Dutchman’s Pizza, 6940 Chestnut St., from 7 to 11pm, Saturday.

The cost is $15 in advance or $20 at the door and includes gaming chips, raffle ticket, food and music by J&J Karaoke DJ. Dress is semi-formal.

All proceeds go to American Cancer Society.

Tennis club hosts Valentine’s Day mixer

Gilroy – The Gilroy Tennis Club will host “Be My Valentine Mixed Doubles Social Mixer” on Saturday, beginning at 8:30am at Las Animas Park.

Membership in the Gilroy Tennis Club is required to participate.

‘Charlotte’s Web’ on stage this weekend

Gilroy – Rucker Theater Arts presents “Charlotte’s Web,” directed by Mr. Jose “Pepe” Espinosa, on Friday, at 7pm and Saturday, at 2 and 7pm at Rucker School, 325 Santa Clara Ave.

Crab feed Saturday benefits students

Gilroy – The Gilroy Knights of Columbus Council 2469 will host a crab feed at the Saint Mary Parish Hall on Saturday.

Happy hour will take place at 6pm with dinner following at 7pm.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Knights of Columbus scholarships and other charitable activities.

Tickets are $35 and are available at the Parish office at 55 First St. or by calling Frank Borge at 842-4357 or Stanley Villalobos at 848-9865.

No tickets will be sold at the door.
