Dear Editor,
I grew up just south of Bernal Road and attended school in
Morgan Hill. I do not feel Coyote Valley should be developed and
the greenbelt should be preserved. It’s part of the beautiful past
of orchards and farmland of San Jose. I ride my bike there on
weekends just to take it in before it’s developed.
Dear Editor,

I grew up just south of Bernal Road and attended school in Morgan Hill. I do not feel Coyote Valley should be developed and the greenbelt should be preserved. It’s part of the beautiful past of orchards and farmland of San Jose. I ride my bike there on weekends just to take it in before it’s developed.

The traffic is already horrible, how will they accommodate traffic, preserve nature and deal with water shortages? San Jose is taking out trees in downtown for a three-day car race. The city’s only downtown grocery store, Albertson’s, is being taking out for development. All kinds of well-established businesses are being taken out for development all over San Jose. They are building up with condos, which means more people. A golf course near Kaiser a few miles north of Coyote Valley at Cottle is now condos. The list is endless. Does anyone besides me care?
