Dear Editor,

No, I do not approve of the Indian casino as reported in The Dispatch.

In the first place I am strongly against anyone claiming sovereignty to land on which their ancestors NEVER lived.

In the second place, a casino is just as bad at eating up good agricultural land as a housing project was. It got shot down, remember.

In the third place, we do not need an attraction that may bring undesirables to our area. We have enough of our own already and 1,500 jobs will not help the local workers but will bring in outsiders for that kind of operation. It will be a benefit for a FEW, hardly any of the investors are truly locals, and a detriment for the MANY – 46,000 residents.
