Don Larry Bounds died on Sept. 9 in Decatur, Texas, at the age of 58.
Mr. Bounds moved to Dacatur after living in Gilroy nearly all his life. He was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., and worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by sister, Janie K. Bounds and brother, John D. Bounds.
He is survived by children, Stacy M. Bounds of North Richland Hills, Jacob C. Bounds of Alvord, Shelly M. Renaud of Decatur, Onisha Sue Bounds of Red Bluff, brothers, JC Bounds of Murchinson, Texas, CR Bounds of Gerber, sisters Rosa I. Cahoon of Red Bluff, Carolyn O. Brady of Clarksville, Texas, and five grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for today at 2 p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
