Donald C. Nielsen, born Aug. 2, 1942, in Los Angeles, died June
21, 2003, at the age of 60 in his home in Gilroy, where he has
resided for the past four years.

Mr. Nielsen is survived by his children Tom Nielsen of Las Vegas, Nev., Karen Subia of Gilroy, Chris Nielsen of Pacific Grove, Donnie Nielsen of Hollister, and Michael Nielsen of San Jose and their respective spouses; brother John Nielsen and wife Sharon of Bend, Ore.; five grandsons; niece; nephews; and cousins.
Mr. Nielsen retired from the construction business before relocating to this area. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
