Dorothy Elsa Hermann died peacefully Friday, Dec. 24, 2004 at
her family home in Gilroy.
Dorothy Elsa Hermann died peacefully Friday, Dec. 24, 2004 at her family home in Gilroy.

Mrs. Hermann was born and raised in Seattle, Wash., and moved to California in 1947. She was co-founder of National Fiberglass Corporation based in Gilroy. Other business ventures include The Cutting Horse Restaurant in San Juan Bautista, where she was co-owner for 17 years.

She is survived by her children, Lehanna R. Boyd of Gilroy, John Hermann of Hillsboro, Ore., Deborah Lekberg of Mechanicsberg, Penn., and Dorian Mackay of Placerville; 8 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her beloved pets.

The family will hold private services.
