Gilroy – Dr. Tile powered past Gamers In Control 21-12 Friday to leave both teams at 3-1 atop the Men’s D League standings at Las Animas Park.

Dr. Tile responded to a 10-9 deficit in the top of the seventh inning by scoring 12 runs. Dave Robinson opened the rally with a single, taking third on a Greg Gilliam double. Dave Agaliotis followed with a two-run single to highlight the 10-hit comeback.

Dave Keim Jr. and Marco Delgado capped the Dr. Tile seventh with consecutive home runs.

Keim finished with two homers and two singles. Ben Roybal went 4-for-4 for the winners. Rudy Tovar slapped a home run, double and single for Gamers In Control. Rick Gonzalez went 3-for-4 and scored three Game runs.

Team Hair FX topped Los Pistoleros 17-4 to find both clubs at 2-2.

George Espinoza cracked two doubles and a single for Team Hair FX. Dave Espinoza and Gilbert Ramirez each added three hits for the Hairmen.

Lupe Lemus paced the Pistoleros offense with a home run, triple and single. Adrian Ponce scored two runs.

The VFW Vets earned a forfeit win over the Players and joined Los Pistoleros and Team Hair FX in third place.

Jus 2 Party moved into a three-team tie for first place in the Men’s BB League standings at 3-1 Friday with a 12-3 nod over Dutchman’s Pizza at Christmas Hill Park.

Marshall Silva went 4-for-4 and Alex Salgado tripled and doubled as the Party joined Team Talamo and Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz atop the standings.

Benjie Casarez doubled and singled for Dutchman’s Pizza.

Interstate-Dee’z defeated Czar Construction 12-6 as Rob Sanchez, Louie Garcia and Junior Gutierrez each collected a double and single.

Willie Gamboa Jr., Gabe Ponce and Sean Subia each drove in one run as Interstate-Dee’z broke a 3-3 tie in the third with a four-run outburst.

Joel Vaca homered and Benny Sanchez went 3-for-3 for Czar Construction.

Team Talamo reached 3-1 with a forfeit win over Bad News.

Sunday’s Co-Rec B and Co-Rec C League play was postponed due to wet field conditions.
