DS Builders improved to 2-0 atop the Men’s Fall C League
standings Monday with a 6-5 win over Blackout Window Tinting (0-2)
at Christmas Hill Park.
GILROY – DS Builders improved to 2-0 atop the Men’s Fall C League standings Monday with a 6-5 win over Blackout Window Tinting (0-2) at Christmas Hill Park.
Kurtis Salter singled and scored on a Daniel Fellows single to snap the 5-5 deadlock.
Blackout forced the extra session with a two-run rally in the top of the seventh. Alex Bass and Eugene Magana each singled and scored on Art Mancera’s two-run single.
Chris Salter and Matt Vargas each went 3-for-3 for DS Builders.
Kenny Hopf hit two singles and scored three runs in a 12-10 Dirty Dozen victory over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
Donny Gooding added a double and two singles to the Dirty Dozen (2-0) offense. Rodney Clore homered and Joey Turner went 4-for-4 for the Bondsmen.
Marcus Gaeta collected a double and two singles as Franco Imports topped RMC Engineering 22-0. Albert Tamez and Adam Fuentes garnered RMC hits.
Bracco’s Towing (2-0) pushed across four runs in the top of the seventh inning to complete an 11-6 Men’s Fall BB win over IFC-Self Made at Las Animas Park Monday.
Mario Silva paced the Bracco’s offense with a double, single and sacrifice fly. Richard Chavez scored two Self Made runs.
Los Gigantes moved into second place at 1-1 with a 10-8 squeaker over Hard Ninety. Matias Franco went 3-for-3 and scored three Los Gigantes runs. Eddie Vargas added three singles and two runs. Raul Gracia plated three Hard Ninety runs with a triple, double and single. Julian Castaneda went 3-for-3.
Maniosos reached 2-0 in Men’s Fall CC action Tuesday with a 9-6 topping of Tax Systems-Royalty Real Estate. Johnny Andrade lashed three hits and Eddie Adame added two singles and a sacrifice fly for the winners. Brian Ridpath homered for Tax-Royalty.
THC also hit the 2-0 mark after a 15-6 nod over Wicked. Doug Jensen powered a homer, double and single, Marc Vegas stroked three doubles and Chris Wing homered and doubled. Oscar Robles went 3-for-3 for Wicked.
The Players upset Feather Haven 9-7 as a Johnny Burns two-run double capped a five-run rally in the fifth. Chon Cantano added a homer. Albert Alosi went 3-for-4 for Feather.
Joe Cano and Bobby Lopez each hit a three-run homer to help 2-0 Anritsu past the Titans 14-11 in Men’s Fall D action. Ted Pickeral and Steve Welch each went 4-for-4 and Vance Lee homered for the Titans.
Mountain Mike’s of Gilroy (2-0) earned a 14- 2 win over Walton and Sons Masonry as Matt Coughlin went 4-for-5 and scored four runs. Willie Maquinalez and Hans Jorgensen each singled and scored for Walton and Sons.
Bruce Hanna and Dave Keim Jr. each posted a double and two singles to lead Humboldt Brewing by the Loco Boys 15-8. Armando Gutierrez homered and tripled for the Boys.
Maureen Hughes singled home Dana Parra with the winning run in the bottom of the final inning to give All 4 Seasons Pet Services (2-0) a 15-14 win over Garza Sisters & Friends in Women’s Fall play Wednesday. Nikki Dequin drove in four Garza Sisters runs with a homer, double, single and sacrifice fly. Leslie Miner scored four runs.
Alicia Martinez hit a two-run single to pace Goldsmith Seeds over Ms. BeHaving 7-2. Michele MacVicar and Linda Figone hit RBI-singles for Ms. BeHaving.
