88 years old.
Edward J. Mosby died Saturday, April 30, 2005, in Gilroy. He was 88 years old.
Mr. Mosby was a longtime cattle rancher and roper in the Santa Clara Valley and was a member of the Santa Clara County Cattleman Association. He attended and was a member of the South Valley Community Church, Gilroy.
Mr. Mosby is survived by his wife, Do thy Mosby of Morgan Hill; children, Joyce Vieira of Gilroy, and Christine DeZelle of Gault; grandchildren, Richard Katen, Robert Katen and Amanda DeZelle; great-grandchildren, Coleman, Carson, and Jade Katen; and niece, Lucy Mosby of San Jose.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., Gilroy.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11am at the above chapel. Entombment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 1st St., Gilroy.
Donations to the South Valley Community Church in his memory are preferred and appreciated.
