Eileen Mary Uhl passed away in Hollister after a short illness on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at the age of 90 years. Eileen was a native of Mapleton, IA. She is survived by her daughter Janet Bernhardt of Hollister and her son Michael Uhl of San Francisco; her grandchildren Leanne Bernstein and Scott Bernhardt; great-grandchildren Macie Renee Bernhardt and Jacob Birdseye. Funeral services will be held in Mapleton, IA where she will be buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery beside her late husband of 68 years, Rex W. Uhl .
