Eyesore of the Week: Chestnut Square parking lot

Chestnut Square has one of my favorite restaurants

is an eyesore. I would hate to own it. The garbage can on a Sunday
morning was filled. Where can people put trash? It is everywhere.
Who is responsible? The property owner? I would assume. I don’t
blame Super Taqueria.

The Dispatch visited Chestnut Square on Monday. The property’s dumpster wasn’t full, but there was noticeable trash in the parking lot, especially in front of Super Taqueria and the north end of the parking lot.

Noel Cordova of H&M Property Management, which owns Chestnut Square, confirmed store managers are responsible for cleaning up the designated parking spaces and sidewalks in front of their businesses.

“We don’t want it to look trashy,” she said. “It should never look like that at any time. If you ever see that, please contact us so we can take care of it immediately.”
