DEAR EDITOR:
I just opened my paper and read with disgust Jack Dwan’s letter printed Thursday. Is this the same Jack Dwan who sarcastically berated Christians for failing to “forgive” Clinton’s betrayal of his wife, perjury and lying to the country? Is this the same Jack Dwan that encouraged us to “vote our conscience” while in the same letter openly slamming anything remotely conservative? And now we read his comparison of anyone who supports Bush to a Nazi!
Jack, your obvious hate for anything conservative or Republican betrays your thin veil of impartiality and exposes you as a fanatical liberal. As is often the case with liberal extremists, rather than presenting a real argument in support of your case, you present insults and sarcasm.
And by the way, please, don’t even try to speak for God or Christians by inferring that this war was somehow immoral. On the contrary, as a Christian I believe our country had a moral obligation to act and that the United Nation’s 12 years of inaction, passivity and ambivalence should be considered immoral.
While I respect your right to hold the views you do, I DO NOT respect your methods. Next time you write, please don’t attempt to drape your case with some form of twisted religious authority.
Take the time to research your topic, prepare a logical, well-founded, argument based on fact and leave the insulting sarcasm at home.
