Firefighters Deserve Free Time

Dear Editor:

In my 86th year, this is only the second time that I have written to the Dispatch with regards to a letter printed in your paper.

(Fighting Fires, April 12, 2006), I wonder if the person who wrote this has any idea what dangers these firefighters go into, not just fires but also accidents, to save many lives.

I also see them in the stores and give them a smile, for they also are deserving of free time.
