With 10 days until the Sept. 3 start to the prep football
season, the Gilroy High and Christopher High football teams will
participate in a five-team scrimmage Friday at Live Oak High School
at 6:30 p.m.

Other schools expected are, Independence, San Benito and Live Oak.
Gilroy begins the season against the Acorns Sept. 3 in Morgan Hill. The Cougars start their 2010 campaign versus Sobrato at Garcia-Elder Sports Complex on the same night.
