Admission is free, and all interested adults are invited to attend and learn the A-B-C’s of backyard and worm composting in a fun and informative two-hour classroom experience. Learn to recycle yard waste and food scraps into the valuable soil amendment known as compost. Local volunteers conduct the class, and attendees will also learn how to purchase low cost composting bins and equipment at the conclusion of the event.
